Therapy Services
Physical Therapy
Focuses on larger motor movements of the body, for movements like rolling, crawling and creeping, standing and walking and jumping. May help with obtaining some durable medical equipment or be a resource to parents on getting more complex items like standers and wheelchairs.
Occupational Therapy
Focuses on finer movement patterns and use of the hands and arms to complete activities of daily living such as self- feeding, dressing, pre- writing skills, washing or other tasks. May help with obtaining some medical equipment such as hand splints. Also focuses on the sensory system through touching and using eyes and hands together.
Speech Therapy
Focuses on early communication skills through gestures, babbling and speech, and understanding language. Addresses any early feeding problems and works on lingering difficulties with texture or aversions to food. Assists with obtaining augmentative communication equipment.
